About Us

Hi there! My name is Laticia. I was born and raised here in Holmes County, I had a housecleaning businesses for 10 years and worked with flowers on the side, I gave up the cleaning business in the fall of 2020 and made flowers my full time thing!

The creation of Flourish Fields was born out of my desire to have a creative outlet to cope with infertility, it was after we came back from an anniversary vacation that the vision of what a small farm stand operated on the honor system and felt more like a store could be, and that’s how the store was born. There were a lot of moments of wondering if we were crazy and moments of thinking we might fail but we opened our self serve stand in the spring of 2020 and we were blown away by the communities support, Over the summer of the same year we were approached about doing a private adoption. I’m amazed whenever I think back on that year and all the pieces that came together and the part that Flourish had in helping us bring a home a beautiful baby in the fall of 2020, who is now a thriving toddler. 

I love spending time with my family, and at the end of the day they’re the most important, sometimes the garden holds a few more weeds because of it. I feel most at home with dirt under my nails and spending time in the fields with the flowers, harvesting and observing them as they grow. If I’m not there my second happy place is down in the barn hanging out with the animals.

My goal with this businesses has always been to bring beauty and joy to our customers and find a way to give back to our community through our locally grown flowers. Im grateful for the opportunity to share this passion with you and am grateful to each of you that has helped make this business a success without you none of this would be possible.
